"If you want it easy, buy a brand new Les Paul or a brand new Stratocaster." In The White Stripes, Jack played his Airline for nearly 10 years. He describes it as a "hollow piece of plastic" as it's made from two pieces of res-o-glas (a type of fiberglass) with a narrow piece of maple running down the middle of the body to secure the neck.

Employing the Découpe (cut-up) technique in which written text is cut up and rearranged to create a different and perhaps unexpected new narrative, David Lloyd has employed shards of lyrics to give discerning fans an opportunity to engage in 'discover the songs' beneath a foreground featuring an iconic and classic guitar. The Découpe concept can be traced back to at least the Dadaists of the 1920s, but was popularised in the late 1950s and early 1960s by writer William S.
