Jimi Hendrix guitar T-Shirt inspired by his iconic Monterey Pop Stratocaster. This very collectable t-shirt design is unique to Rock’n’Roll Redux and is not available in stores. Shipped worldwide - Made in the UK & USA to keep postal costs to a minimum and enable speedy delivery on both sides of the Atlantic.

This hand painted Custom 1963/64 Fender Stratocaster was last played by Jimi Hendrix at the Monterey Pop Festival on June 8, 1967. Jimi used a different guitar throughout the concert and switched to this one just prior to playing The Troggs 'Wild Thing.' At the end of the song he set fire to the guitar before smashing it into several pieces and throwing them all into the audience. Only one of the pieces can be accounted for now and it's safely on display at the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle.

Designed exclusively for John7Arts / Rock'n'Roll Redux by multimedia artist David Lloyd, an alumni of Central Saint Martins School Of Art and the Institute Of Contemporary Arts in London. Artwork created in England - Garments are fulfilled in the UK for European Territories and United States for everywhere else.

Employing the Découpe (cut-up) technique in which written text is cut up and rearranged to create a different and perhaps unexpected new narrative, David Lloyd has employed shards of lyrics to give discerning fans an opportunity to engage in 'discover the songs' beneath a foreground featuring an iconic and classic guitar. The Découpe concept can be traced back to at least the Dadaists of the 1920s, but was popularised in the late 1950s and early 1960s by writer William S. Burroughs and later employed by David Bowie, Kurt Cobain and Thom Yorke. Each unique Rock’n’Roll Redux design ©John7Arts.

Rock'n'Roll Redux is partnered with T-shirt and Sons in the UK and TSC Miami/Monster Digital in the USA. Having partners on both sides of the Atlantic allows us to keep shipping costs to the minimum and facilitate the quickest possible delivery to you.
